A Few Choices When Considering The Average Cost Of Drilling A Water Well
Drilling your own well seems like a daunting task but it is actually something that can be done fairly easily with the right tools and knowledge and can save you a ton of cash in the long run. There are a few factors to consider when calculating the average cost of drilling a water well. There are two different kinds of wells. Shallow water and deep water wells. Obviously, the deeper you go the more money it will cost. On average, it costs about $12 per foot including the labor and equipment. The benefits of drilling your own well means that you will have access to your own water and it will cost less to irrigate your property. Some water bills can cost upwards of $600 per month to have water taken from a municipal source. It is much more cost effective to have the water in your own backyard.
The key to drilling your own well is finding the depth of the water table on your property. A shallow water well will work for water tables found above 240 feet below the surface. A submersible pump needed for this depth usually runs between $350-$500. The average cost of drilling a water well at this depth will cost approximately $10,000 in total. For really shallow depths, you may be able to simply dig down to the water table but most water tables are down at least 100 feet. Another way of accessing shallow water is by using a driver. Basically a pipe that is repeatedly pounded into the soft sediment layers below ground. This is fairly easy and inexpensive but you also have to take in to consideration that shallow water wells are subject to ground contamination and may require more disinfection. Shallow wells can often be drilled fairly easily and with easy to use drilling equipment. The LS200 mud-rotary drill rig made by Little Beaver Company is easy on the wallet, easy to use, and can drill 200 feet in soft sediments.
In some areas, geological issues such as solid granite formations or a very deep water table make the effective use of a shallow well drilling rig like the LS200 impossible. For difficult to drill areas, it is necessary to use more comprehensive drilling rigs to reach the water table. The average cost of drilling a water well deeper than 300 feet can easily run over $12,000 especially if special drilling equipment needs to be brought in or rented. The "Slap Shot" Universal Deep Well Pump Cylinder is an effective and versatile well pump. The SS-01 Slap Shot is a lift pump that can change to a positive force pump, which enables it to apply pressure to pump water at inclines for storage or over distances for irrigation.
The "Slap Shot" is portable, cost effective and uses easily accessible parts. This is a do it yourself pump that can be easily assembled for about $45 or bought pre assembled for $100. You could also use the more traditional deep well submersible pump that runs about $600-$1200. The main factor in considering a deep water well pump is how far you will ultimately need to drill and through what kind of rock. In the end, regardless of what kind of well you will need to drill, the average cost of drilling a water well will be between $8,000-$12,000 which for some people will pay for itself after a few summers.

CNC Cutting MachineBy Peter Vermeeren The operators of the present-day CNC cutting machine demonstrate many of the same skills as those possessed by various traditional craftsmen. The operators of the CNC cutting machine include the men and women who design and make cabinets, woodwork, signs, and a whole range of metal, solid surface and plastic objects. The manufacturers who employ these operators know how important it is to have a good quality CNC cutting machine. The oil is spilling out at over 5,000 barrels a day due to the three breaks in the well pipes and hit the Louisiana coastline late Thursday night, nine days after the initial spill. Some industries, such as the oil and gas industry, as well as the chemical industry generate a lot of hazardous waste in the course of their business. All of it has to be properly and safely dealt with.
